Competition policy
Altiflex Competition Policy: Policy regarding competition in the market
Altiflex wishes to contribute to ensuring free and fair competition in the markets that use the Altiflex System. This policy describes the principles that Altiflex works according to.
Version 01, 2020-11-16. Replaces all previous versions. Free competition requires that Altiflex does not contribute to or carry out activities that involve coordinating prices, offers, market division or other restrictive competition. The competition policy must always be available at www.altiflex.dk.
1. Partner agreements
All Partner Agreements must refer to this Competition Policy and state that Altiflex does not contribute to or carry out activities that involve coordinating prices, offers or market division, as these activities could be seen as restricting competition. Since the Altiflex System is a system that is new to many in the market - including new Partners - Altiflex trains Partners on how to run, for example, a rental business with the Altiflex System. The training includes, among other things, training in assembly, sales arguments, understanding / management of the rental process and project implementation, as well as training in general offer preparation / offer template including recommended price lists. The Partner can find various tools / files at www.altiflex.dk, where everyone - including Partners - can also find Altiflex recommended price lists. Altiflex is welcome to assist a Partner with the storage of equipment and collect information for the partner about which equipment has been delivered / delivered when.
2. Prices and terms (hereinafter referred to as “prices”)
Altiflex Partners – and non-Partners – are free to set their own prices in every respect. Altiflex employees may provide everyone (Partners and all others) with printed material with our indicative price lists, which are also available at www.altiflex.dk. Altiflex employees may not gain insight into Partners' or non-Partners' specific offers / offered prices, and may not teach or guide Partners about pricing in specific offers. Similarly, Altiflex employees may not give Partners or other external third parties insight into Altiflex's specific offers and prices in specific offers. This applies regardless of whether the offer is accepted by a customer or not. Altiflex may assist a Partner with bookkeeping based on, for example, the partner's input regarding invoicing the partner's customers and payment of the partner's suppliers, if the solution to the task has been agreed in writing for a longer period, e.g. as part of a partner agreement. Information about projects, prices, terms, customers, invoicing, etc. is kept confidential between the Altiflex Group's Finance Department and the Partner. Compliance with the policy is monitored continuously by the head of the Finance Department and is discussed annually at the board meeting.
3. Marked
Altiflex participates in various markets and always in free competition. Altiflex does not wish to influence any player to bid on a case or to refrain from bidding on a case.
4. Configurator
Danish Partners' (and other third parties') data in the Altiflex configurator is the Partner's confidential property, which is not accessible to Altiflex employees. Only the partner has access. The only exception is the configurator administrator, who is either an external service provider or an Altiflex employee. The administrator only has access for the purposes of administering the system and supporting the Partner and may not share knowledge, information, data or anything else from the partners' area with other employees in Altiflex. Compliance with the policy is monitored continuously by the administrator and is discussed annually at a board meeting.5. Specifically regarding markets (outside Denmark) where Altiflex does not operate a rental businessNotwithstanding the above policy, the following applies to Altiflex activities in markets outside Denmark where Altiflex does not operate a rental business.
- Certain Altiflex employees have access to foreign partners' configurator data for ongoing training and collaboration. This is limited to the following employee groups:
o Sales staff responsible for foreign markets
o Employees in education
o The Executive Board and the Board of Directors
- The Configurator administrator ensures that only these employees have access. No one in Altiflex (besides the mentioned employee groups) is allowed to request such information from the administrator or from the foreign users of the configurator.
- Compliance with the policy is monitored continuously by the administrator and discussed annually at the board meeting.
6. Internal communication regarding the policy
The policy must be available at www.altiflex.dk and internally on the company's sharepoint. The policy is communicated in writing to all employees and the configurator administrator once a year, and it is reviewed annually at an employee meeting. Once a year, the policy is reviewed at a board meeting, and the board is presented with an overall status of the policy and the activities mentioned.
